\nThese structures have old-time architecture. I got a chance to explore the most famous landmarks in
\nEurope. They were absolutely beautiful and I also got to grab some postcard pictures. Given below is

Beautiful landmarks of Europe<\/p>\n
1. The Colosseum:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
This was the first one which I visited when I was in Rome. This is also
\nknown as the Flavian Amphitheatre. This landmark has a brutal history but still, it is beautiful.
\nIt is built of concrete and sand. In its day it can easily hold up to 55,000 people. That is
\nabsolutely shocking but it\u2019s the truth. It is the top spot in the list of landmarks in Rome. It
\nattracts a lot of tourists from everywhere. It\u2019s totally worth a visit.<\/p>\n
2. The Eiffel Tower:<\/p>\n

I always had a dream of visiting the Eiffel Tower. It is Paris\u2019s most visited
\nattractions. As because Paris is known as the city of lights, this place takes the top position in
\nthe list of landmarks. It is a standing structure at a height of 342 meters. It hard to miss this
\nplace at least. This tower attracts around 7 million visitors each year. Hence it has got the title
\nof the most visited paid-for monument in the world.<\/p>\n
3. Sagrada Familia:<\/p>\n

This place was my third stop. It Barcelona\u2019s most impressive Catholic
\nCathedral. It is pretty spectacular and stands unfinished. This landmark was designed by the
\narchitect, Antonio Gaudi. This has now entered in its last phase of construction. It is the tallest
\nbecause of its new tower and is almost set to reach 172 meters. That\u2019s so amazing. This
\nconstruction is taking 133 years and will be completed in the year 2026. This year will also
\nmark the centenary of Gaudi\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
4. The Leaning Tower of Pisa:<\/p>\n

This landmark has a poor foundation. But it looked appealing to
\nme. This is a human error for which everyone is thankful. This place is a tourist hotspot. I
\ncould see hordes of people trying to click picture showing them propping up the tower. I too
\ngot one clicked. It was an amusing sight and I had a lot of fun. One can take a walk up the
\ntower too.<\/p>\n
5. Brandenburg Gate:<\/p>\n

This landmark is located in Germany. It is a symbol of peace and was
\nbuilt in the eighteenth century. The original concept of designer for the gate was a
\n\u2018Friedenstor\u2019 or victory arch. Berlin\u2019s history varied and also it shared the existence as a
\npolitical icon and a symbol of a divided city. I enjoyed this place as a symbol of unity. It was
\na unique and memorable place to visit during the time in Berlin.<\/p>\n
6. Ancient City Walls of Dubrovnik:<\/p>\n

When I visited this place I got to know that it is considered
\nas a magnificent fortification monument in Europe. I walked around the walls of Dubrovnik. I
\nenjoyed it and clicked a lot of pictures of this coastal city. This landmark is stretched around
\nthe city and the walls reach over 2km in distance. After a delicious seafood lunch, this was a
\nperfect place for a visit.<\/p>\n
7. Acropolis:<\/p>\n

This place might sound impressive because it is an 80ft hill with a flat top. But it
\nsuddenly became one of the most iconic monuments in Europe. Acropolis and the Parthenon
\nare the most characteristic sights to see in Athens. I visited this city and one cannot afford to
\nmiss this city. This landmark is considered as a symbol of the beginning of Western civilization.
\nThe Parthenon was dedicated to the patron goddess of Athens, Athena. She was also the
\ngoddess of wisdom. I got to know a lot about the culture and history too.<\/p>\n
8. Duomo Florence:<\/p>\n

This is a Cathedral of Santa Maria. It is known as Duomo as because it
\nstands high above the red-tiled rooftops. This landmark is located in the stunning city of
\nFlorence. This dome is a puzzle to the people of Florence and nobody knew how it was built.
\nPeople think it has divine interventions or good luck. The prayers are answered by
\nBrunelleschi and he is a goldsmith and a clockmaker. He was also the mastermind of the<\/p>\n
design and engineering miracle. This place is one of Europe\u2019s most impressive masonry
\ndome.
\nAfter visiting all these places I can just say that I had a mind-blowing experience. I got to about the
\nhistory and culture of each of these landmarks. I got to click many pictures and one should not miss
